Prof. Philippe de Moerloose
Philippe de Moerloose is a Full Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Past Head of the Haemostasis Unit and Adjunct Chef de Service for the Division of Angiology and Haemostasis at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland. He holds specialist training degrees in Internal Medicine, Angiology and Haematology. He serves in numerous official capacities at the local, national and international levels as well as on the editorial or advisory boards of a number of medical journals, including the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis where he is Associate Editor.
Professor de Moerloose is a a world recognized specialist in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis (especially fibrinogen disorders and antiphospholipid antibodies). He has authored or co-authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, review articles and book chapters.
Prof. Marie Cohen
Marie Cohen is an assistant professor and recognized specialist of placenta and pathologies of pregnancy associated with a defective placentation. She is co-founder of the Placental Francophonie Group. In 2009, she joined the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva where she developed new diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
Professor Cohen is world recognized specialist in the field the molecular aspects of embryonic implantation. She is author or co-author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications.
Prof. Jean-Christophe Gris
Jean-Christophe Gris is a Full Professor in the Department of Haematology and Laboratory Medicine in University of Montpellier, Head of the Laboratory of Haematology and of the Outpatient Department of Haematology, President of the medico-administrative delegation to clinical research and innovation at the University Hospital in Nîmes, France.
He holds specialist training degrees in Haemostasis, thrombosis and vascular biology. He serves in numerous official capacities at the national and international levels as well as on the editorial or advisory boards of a number of medical journals, including the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
Professor Gris is a world recognized specialist in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis (especially pregnancy-related vascular complications and antiphospholid antibodies). He has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications
Prof. François Mach
Prof. François Mach is Full Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Head of the cardiology department at the University Hospital of Geneva. As director of the cardiology basic science laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine University of Geneva, Prof. François Mach and his research group have developed animal models of atherosclerosis, acute myocardial infarction, chronic myocardial ischemia and ischemic stroke. During the last 10 years, the group of Prof. François Mach has substantially contributed to a better clarification of the inflammatory mechanisms underlying atherosclerosis and its acute dramatic complications, such as myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke, both in human cohorts and animal studies. Between 2012-14, he was the President of the Swiss Society of Cardiology.
Professor Mach is world recognized specialist in the field of atherosclerosis. He has authored or co-authored over 350 High Impact Factor publications, has obtained several European research grants (“European Vascular Genomic Network” [EVGN] FP6, “Inflammation and Vascular Wall Remodelling in Atherosclerosis” [AtheroRemo] FP7), and is currently involved in the Athero-B-Cell FP7 (Targeting and exploiting B cell function for treatment in cardiovascular disease, all funded by the European Community.
Prof. Abdelhamid Errachid El Salhi
Prof. Abdelhamid Errachid is Full Professor Exceptional Class at the University Claude Bernard-Lyon 1. Prof. Errachid was a head of the SIMS (Surfaces- (bio) Interface- Micro/nano Systèmes) group from 2009 until 2013 and now he is a head of the micro&nanobiotechnology group. He is involved as principal investigator, and team leader in several European projects under 5th, 6th, 7th and H2020 framework programmes: FP6: (DVT-IMP, MAPTech, SPOT-NOSED, Nano2Life, Ares, Vector), FP7 (SensorART, BOND and H2020 (HEARTEN), as well as NATO, INTAS and TEMPUS International projects and national Spanish projects (MIROMINCE, MINAHE I, MINAHE II and PETRI).
Professor Errachid is world recognized specialist in the field of silicon-based (bio)chemical sensors using field-effect transistors and micro/nanoelectrode structures. His deep knowledge and understanding of the electronic devices structure as well as operation and interplay between (bio)chemical molecules and electronics, has resulted in development of new (bio)sensor devices). He has authored or co-authored over 320 High Impact Factor publications
